Associate Head of School
The Associate Head of School reports to and works in concert with our Head of School to hold and advance Eagle Rock’s mission and vision, achieve operational and educational goals and objectives, and embody our commitment to antiracism and social justice. The winning candidate will have direct supervision of our student pipeline, including admissions, wilderness orientation, and college and career planning and readiness. In addition, the Associate Head of School will partner across our organization to support school philosophy, organizational culture, strategic planning, and logistics that support delivering on our mission and vision.

Dean of Admissions
We are seeking an experienced Dean of Admissions to oversee and direct student recruitment and the admissions process for prospective families and students. The Dean of Admissions will be responsible for attracting passionate students to join our community of powerful learners and leaders. They will be an enthusiastic ambassador for Eagle Rock and our mission of reengaging high-school youth in their own education and will embody our commitment to antiracism and social justice in their work and personal presence.
Our dean will independently manage the admissions process, collaborating with other departments, the Director of Students, and the Student Services Team as part of an admissions committee. Externally, the dean will need to be able to both deliver on strategic and ambitious enrollment goals, and also stay closely connected and dedicated to student applicants and their parents/guardians throughout their admissions journey.

Dean of Restorative Practices
Our student-centered Dean of Restorative Practices will integrate restorative practices into the staff and student experience, while emphasizing our school’s commitment to antiracism and social justice in their work and personal presence.
Specifically, this position requires the winning candidate to strengthen the Eagle Rock community by bridging conflict, mending relationships, and repairing harm through inclusive processes that engage all stakeholders.
The Dean of Restorative Practices’ primary focus will be to design, implement, support, and evaluate restorative justice programs at Eagle Rock, including developing and expanding program offerings and trainings for both students and staff. Priority areas include proactive/preventative engagement, responsive restorative practices, and restorative practices training.

Communications Associate
The Communications Associate reports to our Director of Professional Development and is responsible for building our communications strategy as a tool for enacting educational change. Specifically, the winning candidate will work to amplify what we’re learning at Eagle Rock, and what our external partners are learning through their work with us, in order to shift thoughts and actions towards liberatory education for all students. This includes managing the Eagle Rock blog, writing for publications and conference presentations, and providing support and editing for staff, students, and external partners to publish and present.

Health & Wellness Counselor
Reporting to our Director of Health & Wellness, our winning candidate for the Health & Wellness Counselor opening should be an experienced youth/school counselor who will serve as both a mental health counselor and a life skills coach. This student advocate will help Eagle Rock School students gain access to resources to nurture their personal growth. They will provide education and assistance to students and staff regarding mental health issues and will conduct individual and group counseling sessions with students.
A key part of this job is living on campus and interacting with students for certain key moments of each week (including nights and weekends). Shifts can be long and work schedules are often variable, involving being on call. The position will require excellent emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills, offering students support to overcome barriers and access the resources they need to be healthy and thriving members of our community.

Life After Eagle Rock (College and Career) Counselor
Reporting to the Associate Head of School, our Life After Eagle Rock (LAER) Counselor in responsible for supporting Eagle Rock School students as they plan for life after graduation, creating empowering and innovative opportunities for students to explore and learn more about themselves and their future possibilities.
The LAER Counselor will be closely connected to each student’s aspirations and abilities as they near graduation and will provide informed guidance on how to navigate their chosen path. They will need to be deeply committed to ensuring each Eagle Rock student is prepared to graduate and prepared for independence, offering support to overcome barriers and access the resources they need to be successful.
